Maple Marine is an independent marine surveying company specialising in yachts and inland waterway craft.
Maple Marine can work on your behalf if you are buying a boat, are an existing owner, or are selling your boat. We also undertake MCGA Code of Practice Surveys, Tonnage Measurement for Part 1 Registration and surveys of damaged craft.
Our surveyor, Martin Pittilo, is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of RINA, an Affiliate Member of the YDSA, and a Member of the IIMS. He worked for 13 years at Lloyd's Register, before setting up Maple Marine. He is a boat owner and is also technical manager for a Yacht Charter company in the Solent.

At each stage of the survey Maple Marine will work with both you and others you request us to work with, such as your insurance company, to ensure that the survey carried out provides the information required. Maple Marine will take instructions from you, and will only divulge the survey findings to third parties if expressly requested to do so by you.
We work with both inland waterways and seagoing craft.
Maple Marine work from our bases in the Isle of Wight, the Solent, London, and Surrey, covering Hampshire, Surrey, London, Kent, Sussex and some of Berkshire.
