For a Motor boat a large number of items will be inspected for a full survey under the following general headings:

  • Electrical systems
  • Instrumentation
  • Gas installation
  • Ventilation
  • Fuel installation
  • Freshwater installation
  • Bilge and general pumping installations
  • Toilet installations
  • Davits, boarding ladder, accesses etc.

Visual inspections will be made of the Propulsion Machinery, Auxiliary Machinery, sails, Lifesaving Applicancies, Electronic systems, Electrical, Gas , and all installed systems including navigational aids, stabilisers, water and sewage treatment plants, refrigerators, ice makers, air conditioning plant(s) and sundry services , in position, without dismantling or test.

The transom will be particulary carefully inspected on boats with stern drives or large outboards.
