Why use Maple Marine? - Independence
Maple Marine is completely independent.
Your report will be on the state of the vessel surveyed, without any bias towards any party.
Where necessary Maple Marine will (with your permission) liaise with your insurance company or other party to ensure that the information they require is covered by the report, or that the format they need is used, but this will not influence the technical content of the report .
Our aim is to provide a truely independent assessment of the vessel being surveyed.

The proprietors of Maple Marine are sailors. They have been involved with yachts for many years and know the practical problems and difficulties of owning commercially chartered yachts, with all of the attendant systems they contain.
They understand the issues you have as they are both surveyors and owners.

What you will get is a clear straightforward report, describing what was found during the survey, and what could not be surveyed and why.
If we are not able to carry out a particular type of survey we will let you know, and let you decide whether you want us to locate someone with the skills or whether you want to find someone else yourself.
