I used Maple Marine for a pre-purchase survey on a 28 year old GRP Thames boat. The survey took place in and out of the water on the wettest day of 2007. It was very thorough, and followed up promptly by a detailed report accompanied by dozens of high quality photographs.
No major problems were found. The minor problems were clearly described and illustrated, enabling me to complete negotiations with the vendor quickly.
Two years of subsequent use have shown up no other issues. I can strongly recommend Maple Marine.
